Celebrating 6 Years in Ghana

On January 20th we celebrated 6 years on the mission field in Ghana. These past 6 years have full of beautiful memories and some hard lessons learned. One thing I know for certain is that we are continuing to grow as the years go by.

2015 was a year full of new adventures for our family. Here are a few of our favorite memories from 2015:

Catalyst 2015 - Our first Catalyst program was a huge success! We are looking forward to Catalyst 2016. If you are interested in joining in us Ghana this July-August please visit CORM's website for more details.

Our Rosemary graduated from Senior High School! This was an amazing moment for us and we are so grateful for each person that poured into her while she was in High School! We could have never gotten here without you! We are so proud of her and all her hard work!

Today Rosemary is teaching in our Homeschool Classroom at Faith Roots International Academy. She is a wonderful teacher! She will be going on to university this next year.

Our new school bus was a really BIG DEAL for our community! We are so grateful for this gift!

This baby girl couldn't talk or walk when she joined our family. She has some tough medical issues that took their toll on her before she arrived at CORM. 2015 was an amazing year for her! Today she can walk from one end of campus to the other, all by herself (she won't let anyone help her) and she can talk your ear off! In total Awe of God's great LOVE!

Last year we had our first graduation at Faith Roots International Academy! Some of these kids joined CORM 6 years ago, when they were rescued from life at Lake Volta. They couldn't speak English, read or write and today they are continuing their education at Senior High School. It hasn't been an easy journey for them but they are doing so well! We are proud of each of them and their perserverance.

This is our little tribe.

(Rosemary and I are way out numbered by the Omorefe men!)
